Bachelor's students
This information applies to students intending to study in one of K.U.Leuven's Dutch-language Bachelor's programmes. These basic-level programmes are intended for students who have completed their secondary education.
K.U.Leuven uses Dutch as its main language of instruction. Consequently, most of our bachelor's programmes are completely organized in Dutch.
However, the Institute of Philosophy and the Faculty of Theology have full bachelor's programmes taught in English. These each comprise 180 credits, organised into three study years. Like K.U.Leuven's Dutch programmes, these attractive and competitive English programmes are formed within the vision of the Bologna Declaration, stressing high-quality instruction, increased international mobility for students, and international co-operation concerning curricula. Specific admission requirements for these programmes are listed in the programme overview.
