Practical information concerning the conference and the social events

In this page, we will refer more than once to the same MAP, mentioning each time the number of the relevant location on the map.

Monday April 26

Trip to Bruges

For those who are taking part in the trip to Bruges on Monday, we will meet at 8:30 in the entrance hall of the railway station of Leuven, Martelarenplein 16, SEE MAP, n° 1.

Welcome Reception

Starts at 19:00 (until 21:00)

Location: Jubileumzaal in the University Hall ('De Hallen'), Naamsestraat 22, Leuven, SEE MAP, n° 3.
'Welcome Reception HERUG' will be signposted from the entrance in the University Hall.

Remember! For those who go to Bruges, you will only arrive back in Leuven at 18:00! So you will only have one hour in which to go to your hotel and freshen up before the reception.

You can already register for the conference during the welcome reception. You will then receive your name badge and a welcome folder with the conference agenda. We would like to ask you to wear your name badge during the whole conference.

Tuesday April 27

Start of conference

Location: Faculty Club, Groot Begijnhof 14, Leuven, SEE MAP, n° 5.

'HERUG Conference' will be signposted from outside the building. Please take the entrance as indicated on this map of the Faculty Club.

8:30: Registration and welcome coffee
Only those who have not yet registered at the welcome reception on Monday evening, will have to register at the HERUG desk, which will be located in the entrance hall, next to the hall 'Lemaire' (see map). The hostess will then give you your name badge and a welcome folder with the conference agenda. Please wear your name badge during the whole conference.

There will be 2 PC's with Internet connection available, for those who want to check their e-mail during the conference.

Guided tour of Leuven

At 18:00

We will meet on the stairs of the Town Hall ('Stadhuis') of Leuven, Grote Markt, SEE MAP, n° 2.

During this tour we will walk past a lot of historical buildings in Leuven as well as visiting the Great Beguinage.
The tour will take approximately 2 hours. Don't forget to wear comfortable walking shoes!

Wednesday April 28

Morning: collect your papers

In the morning you will receive the papers of the presentations that will take place on Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29. Please pass by the HERUG desk to collect them (in the entrance hall, next to the hall 'Lemaire').

Conference dinner

The conference is offered by Hakan Yuksel, General Manager SAP Belgium.

Starts at 19:30

Location: Restaurant 'Salons Georges', Hogeschoolplein 15, Leuven, SEE MAP N° 4.
