There are train connections to most Belgian cities from Brussels
(Brussels - Leuven = 20 minutes by train) as well as a variety of international
connections.
The railway station in Leuven is 1 km from the city centre. At the railway
station you can either take a taxi or a bus. If you take a bus to the
conference centre (Great Beguinage) you are recommended to take bus
connection 2 (Campus Heverlee) . On the 'De
Lijn' website (bus company) you will find all the necessary information
concerning their schedules and tariffs.
