Do the Solidaritest! |
Companies wishing to give something useful back to society sometimes have no idea where to start. And those that make great efforts often go unrewarded. This was the rationale behind last year's launch of Solidaritest, an annual survey of the active efforts made by Belgian companies, or the Belgian branches of international companies, in the field of social solidarity. "Many companies realise that solidarity with the underprivileged is one aspect of their corporate social responsibility", explains jury chairman Luc Van Liedekerke. "It was high time to put the spotlight on this and bring it to the public’s attention."
