Celebration, honoring the university’s FP7 researchers and their accomplishments, and launch of Horizon 2020
The Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development is currently the European Union’s main instrument for funding research and innovation in Europe. Coming to an end in 2013, FP7 will make way for the new framework programme 'Horizon 2020' after seven fruitful years of research and development with considerable impact on science and society.
On Wednesday 11 December 2013 KU Leuven hosts a FP7 closing celebration, honoring the University's FP7 researchers and accomplishments. An award ceremony will put FP7 projects with striking outcome in the spotlight. Furthermore there will be special attention for the 500th FP7 project at KU Leuven.
