Dance: Loop Me | Wen-Chi Su (Taiwan) l
Wed 9 March 2011, 9 pm
Wen-Chi Su is a Taiwanese dancer and a great performer. Loop Me begins with a view of Su standing motionless on the stage, simple, almost like a painting. But when video footage of her begins to play, she gradually comes to life. Through extremely expressive choreography and a gripping soundscape, Loop Me examines the reproduction of the body in video.

Final UUR KULtUUR Concert by Amatorski
Wed 11 May 2011, 9 pm
Amatorski is a young Belgian band formed in 2008 that has a melancholic and narrative style and is reminiscent of Portishead, Sigur Rós and Radiohead. The intimate song ‘Come Home’ reached number 1 in ‘De Afrekening’, the alternative hit chart on radio station Studio Brussel. In 2010 they released the Same Stars We Shared (Amatorski debut) EP and their first full album will be available in April. The concert they will perform in Het Depot Music Centre promises to be atmospheric and intimate. Don’t miss it!
