Onderzoekstopics

  • Culturele uitwisseling tussen China en Europa (sinds de 17de eeuw). Recent onderzoek spitst zich toe op de plaats van ritualiteit in de interculturele contacten (rituele dansen,  begrafenisrituelen, lokale gemeenschappen, spiritualiteit) en op de rol van (Chinese) historiografie in deze uitwisseling
  • Cultural exchange between China and Europe (since the 17th century). Recent research focuses on rituality in intercultural contacts (ritual dances, funeral rituals, local communities, spirituality) and on the role of (Chinese) historiography in this exchange
