Spreading your examinations
Special examination arrangements for students who combine two full-time programmes
Conditions
You combine two full-time programmes for which you still have to take exams to the value of at least 54 credits for each of the programmes in the same academic year.
Application
Your application should be submitted to the Director of Student Administration as soon as possible (examenspreiding@kuleuven.be), i.e.:
- For the January examination period: by one week before the beginning of the Christmas holidays at the latest (11 December 2009).
- For the June examination period: before the Easter holidays (26 March 2010).
Your application must include a motivation letter. The spreading of examinations is only granted for one of the two programmes; usually for the additional programme. However, if you would like to apply to spread the exams of the other programme, you should specify this clearly and explicitly in your motivation letter.
Decision
Soon after receiving your application, we will inform you of the decision taken by the Director of Student Administration.
In the event that your application is approved, the certificate will be posted to your home address. You must then contact the relevant office at your faculty with this certificate.
The certificate serves as an official proof of the approval of your application and must be taken to all the exams you reschedule outside the ordinary examination period.
