A small, normal or large room can only be rented and lived in by one person. A double room has doub, and thus can be rented and lived in by either one person or two persons.
All rental prices are per month and per room.
Division of rooms
When applying for a room, the student chooses one or more room categories. The allocation of the rooms is done by the Management. The main criterea for allocation are whether or not the student participates in the Dondeynehuis project, and the kitchen group to which the student has been assigned.
Included in the rent
- standard furniture
- costs of water
- costs of electricity (for standard lights, radio, alarm clock, razor, hair drier, computer)
- costs of heating
- cleaning communal rooms
- energy use of the communal kitchen, shower or bathroom
- use of the bike shed
- Internet/Kotnet connection
- seminars, workshops and guidance of the Dondeyne project
Not included in the rent
- entree tickets and/or fees for cultural, social, religious or other activities
- municipal tax is not charged to the tenant
- annual payment of registration fee of € 100.
Furthermore, a deposit of € 300 needs to be made. This deposit is reimbursed each year, after possible deduction of costs. This deposit must be submitted each time you apply for a room. The deposit of the previous year can not be transferred. The reimbursement of the old deposit is done after the new deposit is made.
