Welcome to the Movie Awards Site!

This site gives an overview of the Oscars and the most important other awards and festivals. There are three major sections. First, in the Oscars section we present the Academy Awards of 2002 and offer a brief look at the history and the working procedure. Second, in the Festival section an overview of the major festivals in the world, like Cannes and Venice, is given. The Awards section contains valuable information concerning the most famous award elections besides the Oscars. Check our report on this year's Baftas and Golden Globes.This site also offers some usefull links to interesting film sites. Finally, on the favorites page the movies we like the most form our closing comment.
