Classtrology

Hello and welcome to Classtrology !

Did you read your horoscope this week ? Many of you will have to admit they did. And to be honest, we also read them now and then. But they never succeeded in convincing us we were going to meet the love of our life (again !) and we do not pay attention to the warning not to travel on Sunday. But still we find astrology a very interesting 'science' to be discussed, and this will be our main objective.

On this website a short and simple introduction to western astrology can be found, which contains an explanation of the terminology of astrology and a brief historical overview. We will also introduce Chinese astrology.
The next part of the website contains a description of the characteristics of the various birth signs. This way the reader can discover whether he or she is a typical Leo or not. It will also be possible to guess which are the birth signs of your colleagues.
Most people only know astrology as the short daily or weekly contributions in the magazines. This could be a reason for disbelieve and scepticism. Are those horoscopes professional ? We will compare them and ask for an explanation from a professional. Here some results of credibility-tests by professionals are presented.
The last part analyses the answers to the questions we asked our colleagues. Are Media Students devotees or are they rather sceptical about the value of horoscopes. The most important question in this discussion is 'why?'.
