Central bilateral agreements
Categories
There are two categories:
1. Priority agreements, receiving institutional funding: with partners from all regions
K.U.Leuven has priority agreements with institutions in Europe, Asia, North America and South Africa. Each agreement has its own budget to be spent and includes a fixed number of exchanges/year.
2. Agreements in the pool system: with European partners
To some agreements with European partner institutions a pool system applies. Applications are selected on a competitive basis by a K.U.Leuven selection committee. The more solid a project proposal, the bigger the chance that it will be selected and receive funding.
