Study opportunities at KU Leuven within Triple I
The Triple I - Integration, Interaction and Institutions is a consortium of nine European and ten Russian universities. Triple I mobility scheme awards grants to students and staff of Russian and European Partner Universities, but also to Russian nationals not linked with the Partner Universities. Triple I is funded within the Action 2 – Strand 1 – Erasmus Mundus Partnerships, a co-operation and mobility scheme launched by Europe Aid Cooperation Office and implemented by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency.
KU Leuven is the oldest university in the Low Countries (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg). It is a multicultural university with almost 25 % of its graduate students coming from abroad. As such, it has a long-standing tradition of hospitality towards students and scholars from abroad.

FAQ:
I don't have my degree certificate yet. Can I apply for a master's programme?- Russian students enrolled in Bachelor's degree programmes who have not obtained their Degree Certificate before the application deadline, are not eligible to apply for the Triple I grant as master level students.
- Russian students enrolled in a Specialist degree programme, who are in their final year of studies, are eligible to apply for the Triple I grant as master level students without providing the Degree Certificate before the application deadline.

Triple I applicants are asked to send an e-mail to the mentioned contact person to discuss the project. If the supervisor agrees to support the application, he/she will provide the applicant with an invitation letter to be added to the application for a Triple I scholarship.

Opportunities for academic staff
Triple I applicants are asked to send an e-mail to the mentioned contact person to discuss a work plan. The host at K.U.Leuven will send the Triple I applicant an invitation letter to be added to the application for a Triple I scholarship.
Application: 24 October - 14 December 2011
Triple I applicants have to apply online on the website of the University of Turku, co-ordinator of the Triple I project. The co-ordinator of the Triple I project will send all application files to the University of Leuven.
Important: K.U.Leuven does not provide Triple I applicants with an Acceptance Letters or recommendation letter. Instead, the applicants should add a recommendation letter written by one of their current or former professors to their application file.
