LSUE gathers the expertise of more than 60 professors including environmental scientists, engineers, economists, sociologists, and legal experts, residing in 25 research groups. Working in a multitude of domains, the common goal is to find solutions for a sustainable future. Ten research domains have been defined covering a wide range of grand challenges our World is facing.   • 01.02.2011 - LSUE participates in STRONGBOW, a capacity building project in Ethiopia for natural resource management and eco-tourism research and education. This project, funded by NUFFIC, is a partnership between LSUE, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and 5 Ethiopian universities

  • 11.01.2011 - LSUE researchers assessed the impact of the Hungarian "Red Mud" accident on soil quality. Their findings were published in Environmental Science & Technology.
