Doelstelling

The goal of the Fund is to increase our knowledge of the pathogenesis of diabetes. In diabetes, both type 1 and type 2 diabetes, the beta-cell as well as the immune system play a crucial role. Preclinical studies help in understaning the pathogenesis of the disease and thus will help us in finding a cure for our patients or at least help them in their treatment options.
