The conference Program Committee invites abstract applications of high quality in the field of retroviral integration. Abstract submissions are peer-reviewed and accepted abstracts are scheduled as either poster or oral abstract presentations.

Abstract Submissions

Abstract submission will open January 14rd 2011 and close April 30th, 18:00 CET. Please submit your abstract upon registration on our registration page.

Categories of Abstracts

For review and scheduling processes, abstracts will be divided into 9 categories. One of the categories listed below should be selected during the on-line application process.

Structural biology
Biochemistry of integration
Cellular cofactors, LEDGF/p75
Nuclear import and virus trafficking
Drug discovery
Clinical Virology
Other retroviruses and (retro)transposons
Mini-symposium gene therapy

General Guidelines

All abstracts should report new information not previously published. Abstracts should contain the following four components:

Background: a concise statement of the subject of study or a hypothesis
Methods: all main experimental methods used
Results: specific findings
Conclusions: a summary of the major findings that are supported by the results

Please do not include acknowledgements or literature references.

Notification and Correspondence

Presenting authors of selected abstracts will be notified by e-mail not later than June 10th 2011.
