Welcome
On the “International Meeting on Retroviral Integration” researchers, basic scientists and clinicians come together to advance our knowledge on the integration of the retroviral DNA into the host chromatin. It blends the fields of chemistry, biology and clinical research in order to translate basic research into the clinic.
The 4th meeting in Siena, Italy, will cover all aspects of retroviral integration, spanning from biochemistry and structural biology to drug discovery and the clinics of integrase inhibitors.
A mini symposium will highlight the role of retroviral integration in gene therapy and will bring leading scientists in this field together to discuss advances in gene therapy.
We especially welcome young scientist and newcomers to the field to join the meeting.
A limited number of travel grants is available for postdoc and students presenting a poster on this meeting. Please submit a letter of recommendation together with your abstract for travel grant applications. |
