Liesbet De Ceuninck was born in Brugge
in 1974 and went to the Sint-Andreaslyceum
in Sint-Kruis Brugge.
She performed her medical studies at the K.U. Leuven from 1992-1999 and
started her specialisation in nuclear medicine in 1999 with internal medicine
in St-Lucas Hospital (Assebroek)
and St-Jan Hospital (Brugge) and
a first year of nuclear medicine in Virga
Jesse Hospital (Hasselt). She has worked at the Division of Nuclear
Medicine since August 2002 and has finalized her specialisation at the
end of July 2004 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. L. Mortelmans.
She is currently working in the H.Hart Clinic
(Roeselaere) and as part-time consultant here at the Division of Nuclear
Medicine.
She has done clinical research on movement disorders, pulmonary embolism
and Legg-Calve Perthes.
