The first WG3 meeting is planned on May 10, from 9 to 12h am (place will be communicated later).

The main goal of this meeting is (i) getting to know each other, (ii) reflect on our goals, needs, challenges and perspectives, and (iii) discuss about the internal organization of WG3.

The agenda:
1. Welcome (10 min)
2. All participants give a two-slide presentation (50 min)

3. Coffee & informal chat (15 min)
4. Discussion on the internal WG3 organization and activities. (25 min)

5. Decide on the next meeting date, and possible agenda points. (20 min)

Newsflash

Two OPTEC professors have been awarded three "Gouden Krijtjes", the yearly teaching awards given by the organization of engineering students (vtk). Prof. Lombaert was awarded the prize for the best course in civil engineering, and Prof. Diehl the prizes for the best professor and the best course in mathematical engineering (where he teaches numerical optimization). They received these awards at the yearly "proffentap" where experienced students taught them how to draft beer professionally.
