"Quarterly Meeting of OPTEC Working Group 3 on Parameter and State Estimation"

Next WG3 meeting takes place Friday 29 April from 09.00 to 11.00 in
Computer Science room A05.01 (5th floor).

Important:
- We will make the list of parameter estimation software used during the
meeting, so everyone is kindly asked to think of the parameter
estimation software he/she uses. As suggested, this list will be put on
the intranet such that it can be accessed by any OPTEC member.
- The idea is also to start some joint reading of parameter estimation
book(s). So everyone is invited to propose an interesting book to be read.

Newsflash

Two OPTEC professors have been awarded three "Gouden Krijtjes", the yearly teaching awards given by the organization of engineering students (vtk). Prof. Lombaert was awarded the prize for the best course in civil engineering, and Prof. Diehl the prizes for the best professor and the best course in mathematical engineering (where he teaches numerical optimization). They received these awards at the yearly "proffentap" where experienced students taught them how to draft beer professionally.
