The 18th World Congress of the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) takes place in Milan on August 28-September 2, 2011, and many OPTEC members actively participate there. Among other, they coorganize minisymposia (on Model Predictive Control on Embedded Systems) and pre-congress workshops (on Hierarchical and Distributed Model Predictive Control), and in total, OPTEC members from four different departments will present 16 papers at the congress.
