events 2012 / convex course
Dear OPTEC Members and Friends,
following a recommendation of OPTEC's Scientific Advisory Board, next year OPTEC will offer to all
interested PhD and master students and postdocs a course on convex optimization.
It is given by Goele Pipeleers, starts on Feb 15 and will be each week twice for two hours, on
Wed and Thu from 10:30 to 12:30. This course
is most warmly recommended to every new OPTEC member as convex optimization is the foundation
on which nearly all OPTEC research is based.
A list of all upcoming events and announcement of the lecture is below.
Best regards, and a merry Christmas to all of you, in the name of the whole Steering Group!
Moritz Diehl
