Pegasus fellowships 2012
Postdoctoral fellowships granted by the Pegasus program of the Research Foundation Flanders.
K.U.Leuven is an ambitious, research-driven university, situated at the heart of Europe near Brussels (Belgium) and a founding member of the League of European Research Universities (LERU). Our aim is to assume a strong position in the European Research Area by inviting researchers who have established their careers abroad to pursue cutting-edge research in Leuven.What we offer

- a 1 year (Pegasus short) or 3 year (Pegasus long) postdoctoral fellowship, through the Pegasus program of the Research Foundation Flanders.
What we look for
- Research experience at an outstanding level, demonstrated with an extensive CV and list of publications.
- Advanced mastery of academic English.
Eligibility
- All disciplines.
- Having a PhD (obtained before June 1, for fellowships starting October 1 or obtained before November 1, for fellowships starting January 1)
- The candidate must have been active abroad for at least two of the three years prior to the start of the fellowship.
- younger than 36 OR within 6 years (Pegasus-long) or 10 years (Pegasus-short) after obtaining PhD

Deadlines
- February 1 for Pegasus long (3 years) and Pegasus short (1 year), start of the fellowships on October 1, 2012.
- May 1, only for Pegasus short (1 year), start of the fellowship on January 1, 2013.
