B. Pharmacognosy and phytopharmacology - Isolation of natural, pharmacologically active, compounds from medicinal plants. - In vitro and in vivo screening techniques for the evaluation of biological effects of isolated compounds. - Evaluation of antidiabetic, antitumoral or antiplatelet activi- ties.
