Our Mission
The main objective of the Leuven research Institute for Neurodegenerative Disorders (LIND) is to stimulate interactions between the different research groups working on neurodegenerative diseases at the KU Leuven and to promote and accelerate the development of diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for the following diseases:
- Cortical neurodegenerative diseases, e.g. Alzheimer's Disease and Frontotemporal Dementia
- Movement disorders, e.g. Parkinson's Disease
- Motor neuron diseases
- Secondary neurodegeneration
