Before the start of the new academic year
If you are not registered, you cannot fill in your study programme on time. You compose your own study programme, known as the individual study programme (ISP), on the Web: your ISP lists your electives and options, and possible exemptions. You can only make use of this Web application from the beginning of September until October 10. Once your proposal is entered, it is automatically submitted to your faculty. -
During the special opening hours of the Registrar's Office: from August 16 up until and including September 28 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- On Monday September 3 (Leuven Kermis), the office is open but the centre of Leuven is closed for traffic.
- On Friday September 14 and September 21, we are available until 7:00 p.m. -
Registrations for the second semester are possible between 1-27 February, we are open from 9.00 till 12.30 on weekdays, except for February 4.
Where
After your arrival at Leuven you will need to pass by the International Office, Naamsestraat 63, first and show all obtained original post-secondary diplomas. Afterwards, you can proceed to the Registrar’s Office,University Hall, Naamsestraat 22, 3000 Leuven
What do you need to bring with you?
- Permission to register from the International Admissions an Mobility Unit, stamped and signed onto your Letter of Admission. Kindly pass by the International Office first before registration to obtain this permission.
- Your identity card or passport, including visum
- Your civil registration number (you will find this number on your SIS card, or on the back of your identity card), if available
- A copy of your rental contract
- For first-year bachelor’s of dentistry or medicine: proof of success in the admission examination
