The use of personal data

The law concerning the protection of personal privacy (December 8, 1992) determines the rules for corporations and institutions that store personal data in databases. The academic management of KU Leuven has set out the principles and the practical applications for the use of personal data of its students and personnel in the Internal regulation for the application of the law concerning the protection of personal privacy (in Dutch). Each person requesting information is considered to be acquainted with this regulation insofar as it applies to him or her, and to act accordingly.
