Exchange students

The majority of Exchange students are referred to the private housing market for permanent accommodation.
Before Arrival
Before departure to Leuven it is necessary to arrange guesthousing for a few nights since it is not possible to move into a permanent room immediately.
Upon Arrival
Once in Leuven, exchange students must come to the Housing Service . The room hunt generally takes about 1 week.

Exchange students staying for the entire academic year will be referred to the database of privately rented student housing.

Exchange students staying for one semester will be given information and guided through the procedure to find housing.
