Visiting professors, senior fellows and visiting scholars

The K.U. Leuven has a limited number of properties available for rent to members of the university and visiting scholars. One of these properties is the Groot Begijnhof University Residential Area, located at the edge of the city of Leuven.
It is the policy of the Groot Begijnhof to offer accommodation to visiting professors and international scholars for a maximum period of one year. Short term lets (three months or less) are also considered. Extensions are only granted in exceptional circumstances and on condition that accommodation is available.
Please, contact Ms Leen Bogaert (grootbegijnhof@kuleuven.be) to apply for suitable accommodation at the University Residential Area Groot Begijnhof.
Since there is no balance between demand and supply, accommodation must be requested at least three months in advance.

If the residential area of the Groot Begijnhof is fully booked, these guests will be referred to the private sector.
