Students of KU Leuven, Groep T, KHLeuven and Lemmensinstituut.
For employment purposes, international students are divided into 2 groups:

• Nationals of the European Economic Area (EEA) member states & students of bordering countries
• Non-EEA nationals

There are special rules for:

• PhD students and post-doctoral researchers
• Self-employed students
• International students who are married to a Belgian or EEA national
• Political refugees
