Students of KU Leuven, Groep T, KHLeuven and Lemmensinstituut.
For employment purposes, international students are divided into 2 groups:
- Nationals of the European Economic Area (EEA) member states & students of bordering countries
- Non-EEA nationals
There are special rules for:
- PhD students and post-doctoral researchers
- Self-employed students
- International students who are married to a Belgian or EEA national
- Political refugees
