A flu free winter

Aching muscles, high temperature, dry cough, a throat like sandpaper? Sounds like flu.
The only thing you can do is stay in bed, make yourself as comfortable as possible and patiently wait for it to pass. It is a harmless ailment, especially amongst young people, but it can knock you for six.
What's worse, flu doesn't care about exams, appointments or holiday plans.
And yet, it doesn't have to be this way. You can ensure that flu doesn't get the better of you.

Vaccination against flu

Our 2011 flu vaccination sessions took place last week.

You can still get a vaccine during a regular consultation with your own GP or the student doctor.
