What? HR-officers of Belgian and international companies give information about career possibilities and selection procedures. In cooperation with the EURES-department of the Flemish Public Employment Agency special attention is paid to career possibilities on the European Labour Market.

Information sessions

What? A number of information evenings presents you a picture of jobpossibilities, career expectations and application procedures in different sectors of labourmarket. Since part of these activities concerns local labour market, these informationsessions are presented in Dutch.
The information evening about Working in (Belgian) diplomacy, EU and UN-organisation is partly presented in English.

When? Tuesday 19th March 2013 – 7 P.M. - Aud. Max Weber (AP 00.15) - Parkstraat 51, 3000 Leuven

First part: information about working in (Belgian) diplomacy will be presented in Dutch

Second part: information about working in EU en UN-services will be presented in English Between and after the sessions you can visit information stands of AEGEE (Association des Etats Généraux des Etudiants de l´Europe), EURES (European Employment Services), Europe Direct, the Association for International Affairs (KIB) and YEF (Young European Federalists). There is also possibility for more informal contact with the speakers.
This evening is organised in cooperation with the Liaison Agency Flanders Europe.

Success in the US:
An information session for students and researchers about studying, doing research or being trained in the United States. Presentations will be in English, the panel discussion will be in Dutch, though questions can be put in English.

Individual
An EURES-counsellor of the international section of the Flemish public employment agency VDAB will be present in the offices of the Study Advice Service on 21th February, 19th March and 24th April 2013.
Students who are looking for individual advice (in Dutch and/or English) about international career possibilities can make an appointment with this counsellor. Prior registration is necessary through the Study Advice Service.
