Conditions of entry

Students who successfully finished an university study in Physical Education or Physiotherapy are allowed to apply for this specialisation.

They have to hand in a written motivation why they apply for it and a curriculum vitae before the 31 of May 2001 to Prof. dr. H. Van Coppenolle, co-ordinator of the specialisation. A selection procedure will indicate the effective students.

Candidate-students will be informed of the results of this selection. If candidate-students already think they have credits for one of more of the courses, they can ask for exemption by sending in the content of the course(s) signed by the institution where they followed it.

As the lectures will be held in English, students are expected to be sufficiently conversant in English (understanding, speaking, reading, and writing).

Some of these lectures will be organised together with the international group of students who follow the European Masters Degree in Adapted Physical Activity,
which starts the last week of August.

During this specialisation the student will follow a practical training during at least 6 months under supervision of the lecturers, and has to hand in a report on this experience.

The registration fee in the K.U. Leuven is 460 EURO.
