On the basis of the analysis of the factors determining the effects of the conducted rehabilitation of locomotor impairments– comprising the treatment results at the Capital Centre of Rehabilitation in Konstanein of almost 2000 disabled people – methods and techniques suitable for adapted physical activity have been worked out adapted to the basic aim of rehabilitation conducted within the framework of disability pension prevention in the centres of the Social Insurance Institution.

These methods differ from those usually met in the handbooks on rehabilitation because they are adapted to a different groups of patients. The therapeutic centres of the Social Insurance Institution has signed an appropriate agreement –accept only people at productive age in which the development (the degree of advance) of the disease transition augurs the possibility of a return to work (prevention of disability pension admission) as a result of short-termed, intensive rehabilitation.
