Short instructions

1. Take your camera, use your web cam, take your mobile and make a short movie. Edit it into a great unit of min. 30 seconds and max. 5 minutes.
2. Upload your movie to YouTube. Give it a nice title. Add some keywords.
   Tell us in short what your movie is about by filling in the ‘description/beschrijving’ field.
3. Go to www.oh-my-god.tv  order to publish your movie on oh-my-god.tv too. To do that, click upload and follow the online instructions.

Extensive instructions

All the films on our website have to be uploaded via YouTube. (We use YouTube
to publish the films on our website)
So:

1. Make a YouTube page
   
   To publish your film you first have to make a YouTube page: to do so, go to: http://www.youtube.com/signup?next=/index.
   It will take a few minutes to make your own page. Once finished, you can use this page to share your own films and your favorite films on YouTube with others. With edit channel you can personalize your YouTube page, by adding for example your own texts or design: to do this, follow the instructions on YouTube.
   
   
2. Upload a video
   
   When you’ve created your own YouTube page and have saved videos onto your computer, you can put these on your personal page. You do this by clicking the yellow button “Upload” in the top right corner.
   
   You will then arrive at the first step of the uploading process. Click on “Upload video” at the top of the page. You can now search for the location where you’ve stored your video (e.g. on your desktop). This is similar to the way you add an attachment to an e-mail. And when you once again click on “Upload video” the upload process will commence. While your video is uploading, enter as much information about the video in the relevant fields (including Title, Description, Tags, and Category). The more information you supply the easier your video will be found when people are searching for videos. Click “Save changes” to save the information you supplied. Your video will usually show up a few minutes after the upload process has been completed. Occasionally it can take up to an hour before a video is processed and available on YouTube.
   
   Once the video is available, go to www.oh-my-god.tv and click upload to also publish your video on oh-my-god.tv. You will have to fill in some info here as well. Only your name (*), e-mail (**), title of the video and description will be published. The other data is information for oh-my-god and shall not be distributed to third parties.

(*) If you fill in a nickname or alias, your real first name and surname will never be published. If you do not fill in a nickname, we assume it is ok to publish your real name.
(**) Your e-mail address will only be published if you indicate this on the form yourself.
