The Master's
The Master of Restorative Dentistry aims to train students who want to specialise in restorative and prosthetic dentistry and deepen their knowledge in the multidisciplinary field of dental care. The target group consists of Masters in Dentistry, both at a national and international level. The master’s programme is logically combined with the part-time 'Post-graduate Certificate in Restorative Dentistry' that basically consists of the clinical training.
My profile
Applicants have a special interest in working with adults and elderly people, and with patients with special and complex dental needs. Applicants pay special attention to function and aesthetics within a minimal-invasive treatment. Critical scientific reading, understanding of experimental methodologies, statistical analysis and interpretation skills of results constitute the typical profile of a Master in Restorative Dentistry.

Study programme
The academic programme, spread over three years (20 credits per year) involves theoretical courses, self-study, preclinics and clinical demonstrations in the field of restorative dentistry. In particular it will provide insight in the specialised techniques and their scientific background in restorative and prosthetic dentistry.Participation in the clinical and laboratory scientific research programmes is also part of the curriculum.
