K.U.Leuven visit to Tsinghua University
In April 2007 a top delegation of K.U.Leuven visited Tsinghua University during the K.U.Leuven@Tsinghua week. The delegation was headed by Rector Marc Vervenne. During the visit the Leuven Delegation had the privilege to participate in the Friendship tree Planting Ceremony, which symbolizes the growing tight links between both institutions.
During the week in Beijing, an impressive number of high level contacts lead to the Signing of a Declaration of Intent between the two universities.
