Fietspunt Aarschot, a division of vzw Velo, is moving! The work on the station of Aarschot is finally going to start. After the school holiday of 2010 the dismantlement of the storage facility next to the station will commence. On that spot, a new trafficbridge ( for pedestrians and cyclists) will be built over the tracks. Fietspunt is located in the storage facility .This means that our services will be temporarely housed in containers. These containers will be placed on the right side of the station, behind the “frituur”. The new trafficbridge will house the new location for Fietspunt and a bike shed with more than 400 places will be implemented. These works will probably last a little more than one year.
Fietspunt Aarschot stays active during this time. The rental and repair of bikes will take place in the containers next to the station.
