Sharing Knowledge

Fall 2009

This is an invitation to share your academic and personal views,
seen through the lenses of your own culture, by giving a lecture for Flemish students.

K.U.Leuven offers you, as an international student or researcher at K.U.Leuven and coming from a developing country, the possibility to share your wealth of personal, intercultural, and/or academic knowledge with Flemish students during the fall semester 2009.

You are invited to give a lecture in a course (or International Week session) at one of the participating higher education institutions of the Association of K.U.Leuven.

This exchange of culturally based views on shared academic topics promises to be very fruitful, and will certainly broaden your own knowledge and intercultural skills.

Included you will find a list of topics set out by the different institutions and their departments.
The lectures are mostly requested in English, but exceptions are mentioned in the list.
In this list, you'll find the Programme and the section in the Programme, the asked profile of the guest speaker and his topic and the period where the lecture is asked for.

If your research field matches one of the requested topics and if you would like to participate in the Knowledge Sharing project,
we offer you €65 per lecture and the reimbursement of your travelling expenses.
