Open Science

Open Science represents a new approach to the scientific process: shifting from the standard practices of publishing research results in scientific publications towards sharing and using all available knowledge at an earlier stage in the research process.

KU Leuven output is managed and stored in Lirias, our Open Access bibliographic database. Lirias contains nearly 400.000 items, ranging from journal articles over PhD theses to artistic output of our researchers.
